Fantail is built privacy-first for kids. Here's exactly what we do with your child's information — in plain language, and checked automatically every time we change the app.
No advertising to children, of any kind. We don't run ad networks or ad trackers.
We never sell your child's data or share it with third parties. It isn't the product — they are the point.
We measure how fast pages load using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal information. That's the only measuring we do.
Every piece of data is locked to the people a feature is meant for. Group chats are visible only to members.
Kids sign in with a passkey — their face, fingerprint or device. No password to leak, no phone number needed.
We ask for as little as possible to run an account — and nothing more.
You only get in with a code, and you only ever see the groups you've joined.
These aren't marketing words. Every time we change Fantail, an automated check runs against these privacy and safety promises before the change can ship — so they stay true as the app grows. It's the same idea a bank uses to prove it follows the rules, made small enough for a kids' app.

Any time, from inside the app, your child (or you) can download a full copy of their data, or permanently delete their account and everything in it. No emails to send, no hoops.
